Sixteen Indiana hospitals were recognized as “High Performing”. This designation indicates that the hospitals met patient safety benchmarks for metrics like C-section rates, early deliveries, and newborn complications.

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade focuses on reported accidents, errors, injuries and infections and is published twice a year. According to Leapfrog, 90% of hospitals with a fall 2025 Safety Grade are part of a health system; ”A“ rated hospitals, are even higher at 94%.
